Sara Modiano was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and currently lives
in Miami. An accomplished artist, her work has been displayed in
galleries and museums worldwide, including France, Spain, Colombia,
Brazil, Venezuela, Hungary, Australia and the United States.
Her qualities as an artist and her teachings as a person are a legacy
that must be shared with generations to come. Her insights on
simplicity as a fundamental factor in the essence of the human being
and as a vital condition of existence are of great importance.
Sara Modiano has demonstrated her professional qualifications as an
exceptional artist with an impressive career of numerous exhibitions
and excellent critical reviews. Her work has been shown around the
globe in solo shows and group exhibitions in noteworthy galleries and
museums. She has received numerous awards and prizes for her work
and has represented her country of Colombia at Biennial exhibitions in
Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Spain and Australia.
Sara Modiano has established her reputation in the fields of Sculpture,
Installation and Performance Art. She has created a body of work that
is fresh, vital and inventive.
